Well if I encounter a "Simpsons fan" that doesn't know what I'm
talking about when I say "That episode where a hurricane destroys the
Flanders home", then I will be pretty sure that person isn't really a
Simpsons fan.
I personally know NOBODY that can, without going online or going to a
book somewhere, describe an episode after hearing its production code.
I am sure that such people exist. But they don't travel into my corner
of the world. Do such people ever step away from their computers?
Production codes are for people who do most of their conversing online.
